Classical and contemporary classical music
but in particular
traditional music or music called ` travelling music"

The choice of the music is based on pedagogical as well as artistic aspects.

The music can be lively and emotional, dancing or sometimes nostalgic but in each piece children, as well as adults,
will find an echo to their sensibilities.
It reveals a part of collective subconscious.
It helps to develop an open mind, the understanding of other cultures, the culture of the neighbours,
the culture of the classmates.
Most of the time, the structure is very simple proposing a large flexibility of interpretation and the possibility of
varying the arrangement depending on the number of participants.
The music chosen offers an area of creativity to students who are full of musical and scenic ideas.
It is important to favour improvisation.
The pieces are easy to remember. That is why music stands and scores are usually not used on stage.
They also experience learning through listening.

Some of the pieces allow or even invite to movement, to dance.
During the performance, children play and dance at the same time.
The music with irregular beats (5/8, 7/8 etc) originating from Eastern Europe is a corporal education for the musician.
The children are the conductors on stage, each piece has its chief.  The rigorous tempo of the music makes it possible.

Arrangements are made by Tina Strinning and sometimes by members of the group.

The musical repertory develops the child's creativity,  expression,  flexibility and character. It also allows the pupils to become responsible and autonomous.
